Let's Help this Military Family Get a Handicap-Accessible Van for their Family

We'd like to let Xiomara Montes speak for herself here.  She wrote...

My name is Xiomara Montes. I live in Fort Lewis, WA and I am a wife and mother of three children. My husband’s been in the US Army for 6 years. Four and a half years ago, our life changed, when our second daughter was born.  She was 29 weeks at the time of her birth - premature.  She was immediately hospitalized for 37 days in the neonatal intensive care unit. The result of being born prematurely is that she had a brain injury that resulted in cerebral palsy she also has a seizure disorder, epilepsy, and cortical blindness.  She’s had two major surgeries, one to correct her hips and the other to place a gastric tube, all in less than 8 months both. For the last 3 years my husband and I have been trying to trade our vehicles for an Accessible Van, because our daughter is in wheel chair, and now she is a lot bigger. We have tried to finance this handicap van with many different financial entities but because of our financial situation are impossible to be approved.

OK HopeMob! It's our time to shine! Let's find a place to donate this van to the Montes family or give them an amazing financing deal.  Let's GO!
